C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSCONFIG.COM   

C:\WINDOWS\system32\   

Right click on D: disk, select Open. Delete Autorun.inf file in its root

4. Delete junk messages in registry

Rename regedit.exe with any name you like, then delete the values below:

 

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WindowFiles   

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings   

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\ Check_Associations

5. Fix Registry

Step One: Change the default values of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe to exefile

Step Two: Change the default values of

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\iexplore.exe\shell\open\command   to

“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” %1

Step Three: Change the default values of

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D} \shell\OpenHomePage\Command   to

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE

Step Four: Change the default values of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ftp\shell\open\command

and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\opennew\command   to

“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” %1

Step Five: Change the default values of

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \htmlfile\shell\open\command

and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\opennew\command   to

“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” –nohome

Step Six: Change the default values of

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\StartMenuInternet   to

“IEXPLORE.EXE”  

6. Finishing Touch

Close registry, then rename the modified file back to regedit.exe
